How to upgrade HTC One M8 to Windows 10 - Microsoft Community

hello, got used htc 1 m8 window 8.1 update 2.

i've been trying no avail update device windows 10, , it's caused me pull hair out. after research, microsoft did have update path phone many people sporting windows 10-enabled htc 1 m8s. reason these phones can't updated.

this phone has little support popular apps (can't run skype, netflix, movie streaming, anything). it's paperweight. don't understand why windows 10 isn't showing in updates, device has no issue running os stable.

is there i'm missing?

the availability of windows 10 mobile upgrade existing windows phone 8.1 devices varies device manufacturer, model, country/region, service provider, hardware limitations , other factors. check if device supported , other important information, can download upgrade advisor app store.
