hello insiders

so upgraded pc latest build in slow ring of 3 august , have been experiencing problems.

my keyboard doesn't work in start menu searching , cortana doesn't work.

all stock apps crash , edge crashes.

 i have been experiencing issue since upgraded system earlier today

-my specs are

-intel core i3-4130 3.4 ghz

-gigabyte h81m-s

-segate 500 gb hard drive

-nvidia geforce gt 610 asus edition

-8 gigs of ram

hi,

this issue can occur corrupted update or system file.

to better assist you, please answer following questions:

  • when "my keyboard doesn't work in start menu searching", saying cannot type on search box?
  • are getting error message when apps , edge crashing?

in meantime, try performing clean boot eliminate software conflicts might have occurred after installing update. click on this link for more information on how perform clean boot in windows. 

note: refer to how reset computer start after clean boot troubleshooting section know more information on how start computer in normal mode after clean boot process.
