Using Microsoft Edge with "Code Writer" app from the Microsoft - Microsoft Community

to whom may concern:

i have found issue saving .htm (i.e., html) files microsoft store app called "code writer" creates strange behavior in microsoft edge.  edge not display local graphics (e.g. <img src="filename.png" />).  however, if use text editor, such "notepad," create exact same file, edge display local graphics without issue.  

i read different discussion topic on code writer website, stated code writer aware of issue, , fault not code writer.  discussion offered workaround problem:  create .zip file of html files, , decompress archive.  rid of edge's quirky behavior getting rid of metadata in decompressed files.

since "code writer" such fantastic free app microsoft store, nice if use html.  help.

there may settings need check in order use code writer app microsoft edge. workarounds discussed developer of said application may enable perform tasks needed said files. additionally, highly suggest check our msdn forums more information on how rectify issue. can post own query , wait our developers provide suitable action issue.
