Windows 10 reopens unclosed apps after restart/boot - Microsoft Community

hello,

windows 10 restart opened apps (opened @ shutdown) , folders when start pc since last update.

what name of "feature" , can disable it?

shouldn't consider bug since unexpected behaviour?

hi,

the issue may caused improper windows update installation. assist concern, we suggest perform system restore. this option takes pc earlier point in time, called system restore point. restoring won’t affect personal files, remove apps, drivers, , updates installed after restore point made. this, follow steps below:

  1. in search box, type control panel , press enter.
  2. on upper-right window, under view by, click category , select large icons.
  3. search control panel for recovery.
  4. select recovery > open system restore > next.
  5. choose restore point related problematic app, driver, or update, , select next > finish.
