Excel 2016 Bug formating cell - Microsoft Community

hello,

i've found can classify bug.

reproduction steps:

create new workbook

edit cell , paste: (10 lines, each minimum 25 characters)

1234567890123456789012345

select part of content , give formatting

e.g. 1st line = bold or last 5 lines in different font-size

save , close workbook (keep excel open)

reopen workboock = same

now close excel completely

reopen workbook = formatting gone!

tested on 2 separate windows10, office proplus2016 (activated) 1708 build 8431.2107 clicktorun.

it has worked until 2-4weeks ago!

have office 2016 professional plus version 1709 (build 8528.2139 click-to-run), , cannot reproduce error. formatting remains intact after closing excel , reopening workbook...


Office / Excel / Windows 10 / Office 365 for business
