Edge Favorites on bar showing wrong names when I hover with cursor - Microsoft Community

use favorites bar in edge lot. have short hand names favorites can identify favorites (many have same icon) hovering on them before clicking. since big update (late nov / dec 2017) doesn't work anymore. when hover see long url link, inscrutable , useless quick identifier. names still show correctly in favorites bar drop down , if try rename favorites have correct, short name. short name won't show when need to. 

seems issue how edge syncing favorites. see if these fixes resolve it:
