creating an association in default program on widows 10 - Microsoft Community

when using microsoft excel trying share information via gmail message "there no email program associated perform requested action. please install email program or, if 1 install, create association in default programs panel". 

i'm novice, please help.

hi,

the error receive might because there's no default email app listed on windows 10. suggest add gmail app or outlook app default email app. can follow steps provided below:

  1. click windows start menu , select settings (gear icon).
  2. click system.
  3. select default apps , under email section click the + sign.
  4. a  window pop , kindly select default mail app.

this should in getting said error removed whenever trying share information via email.
