Available Updates never install - Microsoft Community

when start office product message updates available.  click update button , dialog box asked if wish start downloading now.  click yes , dialog box inform me updates downloading.  let run while, assuming office knows it’s doing, next time launch office module same updates available message. 

last month online tech person @ microsoft , after 5 hours , lot of manipulation, updates seemed install, in week, updates available again , in endless loop.

i once accidentally deleted excel (or perhaps entire 365 installation) , when reinstalled, problem went away. 

i running windows 10.  have microsoft office 365 subscription, version 1704 (build 8067.2115 click-to-run), current channel.

updates made improve windows , products. there might updates still being installed that's why issue occurred. since there many minor updates on office products that's being installed, may take several days finished. if want remove these module updates that's popping every time launch office apps, suggest trying uninstall , reinstall again 1 you've done before. check updates after reinstallation , install of available ones. make sure updating , reinstallation won't interrupted.
