AutoSave button - Microsoft Community

i using excel 2016. ever since upgraded "autosave" button appears out of nowhere on quick access toolbar. remove , next time open excel , later in day when open worksheet appears again. don't want there.

how stop appearing on own?

the icon there can switch autosave on/off when working file stored on onedrive.

as experiment removed using customize qat. closed , reopened excel , autosave did not re-appear.

how did delete (?) it?

accelerator feature not compatible windows 10 causing computer load programs slow,  need download link correct problem moved from: internet explorer / internet explorer 10 / other/unknown hello sharon, starting windows 10, version 1703, accelerator can no longer used in internet explorer. can check article to learn more said setting. let know if have other concerns. regards.
