when microsoft edge open if try open app not show reason don't know why happening.

hello collin,

noting details have provided.

it issue software conflicts or corrupted system file causing this. let's try running windows app troubleshooter , see if trick. see link below:

another thing can resolve perform repair microsoft edge, if repairing did not change anything, recommend reset it. here how:

repairing the browser won't affect anything, resetting remove your history, cookies, , settings might have changed. you'll find these options in settings  > apps > microsoft edge > advanced options.

do make sure windows gets latest updates. ensures you'll receive latest fix errors , bugs have on device.

run windows update correct problems replacing outdated files, updating drivers, , fixing vulnerabilities.

check updates, select start button  > settings  > update & security  > windows update, , select check updates. if windows update says pc current, have current updates.

may know if encounter error messages? if so, can please specify?
