Keypad problems in apps - Microsoft Community

have dell desktop keypad issue.  keypad works long not go app work.  ex: excel:  top row numbers work not keypad.  recent occurrence.  can sin in microsoft when boot , can search numbers within firefox.  when open excel keypad not work.

crazy.  went , found did not download latest windows update , works fine in office , other app.  not know why caused problem,  thx trying help.
