Edge and keyboard input - Microsoft Community

following july, 2017, windows 10 update, microsoft edge not accept keyboard input in web search box. search boxes in websites accessed through edge not accept keyboard input. accept 1 or 2 letters, not entire text.  this occurred both of computers: dell inspiron 5759 64bit. keyboard driver date. there no problem chrome or ie11. think july update had code affected edge. microsoft should issue update provides fix.

this issue occurs due software conflicts. we suggest run windows app troubleshooter , check if issue persists. running troubleshooter detecting , identifying issue , in cases resolve same enhance performance of system.

once you're done, update result.
