instead of working @ updating ntfs refs windows 10 client systems.
windows 10 fall creators update windows 10 clients only able read/write refs disks.
not able format disk refs except windows 10 enterprise , windows 10 pro workstations.

either removed product in current release (“removed”) or not
in active development , might removed in future releases (“deprecated”).

creation ability available in following editions only:

windows 10 enterprise , windows 10 pro workstations.
creation ability removed other editions. 

all other editions have read , write ability.

i read article today too. considering possibility of formatting data disk refs , trying assess if cause problems how things now.

as article suggested, still possible boot current install windows 10 pro install media , use format volume refs use future windows 10 home or pro editions refs creation has been disabled.

it seem strange marketing approach develop new edition not have enough value attract customers unless remove attractive features other existing editions. keep taking things pro edition. maybe remove windows go pro edition too?
