microsoft's suggestions resolve issue are rather unattractive.

i note community problem many other users experience. however, no further advice forthcoming microsoft to resolving issue.

has had success far in getting issue resolved?

since many users getting error code "0x8018830f" when updating os build 10.0.14393.1884, it's best report through feedback hub app. click link , check out post marked answer. shows there steps how send new feedback.
