My Windows 10 PC keeps crashing when using office. - Microsoft Community

windows 10 pc keeps crashing when open excel 2016 or word 2016. have tried re-installing office aswell. still problem persists. kindly help.

this issue due recent changes happened on device. did install windows or office updates? better assist you, please answer following;

  • when did issue start?
  • are getting error messages or office applications closes immediately?
  • is issue happening when opening file or happening time click on excel , word programs?

in meantime, suggest follow steps provided here. article contains link the office configuration analyzer tool (offcat) tool identify possible cause/s of issue. provide public articles fro troubleshooting steps.
