Excel 2010/2016 Side by Side - Microsoft Community

our program can run on either excel2010 or excel2016. need to switch different excel versions, because program creates excel.application default excel version.

excel2010/2016 can be installed on same pc , work side side, so wonder whether there manipulation in registry keys switch default excel version, because the office repairing takes such long time , need reboot. i compared files befor/after repairing, not many files changed, there huge registry key changes. how find lightest registry changes can done via script? in advanced.

running excel 2010 , excel 2016 side-by-side not advisable. however, if looking in-depth registry manipulation using script able both versions side-by-side, encourage post question on our msdn forum developers answers queries such this.
