Build 17063 breaks network access in VMware Workstation Windows 10 Pro - Microsoft Community

i'm running windows 10 in vmware workstation 14.

everything has been fine until upgraded 17046 17063. have win 10 pro setup dhcp tried setting a

fixed ip address , still didn't work. ran network troubleshooter , says can't communicate device or resource (primary

dns server) , security or firewall settings might blocking connection.

i restored 17046 , network access works again.

i came in morning find system upgraded 17063 on night , there again no network access.

anyone know how fix this?

changes on system settings after recent update 1 of possible reasons why issue happening. recommend following possible solution in article to resolve network connection issues.
