Allow users to contact external Skype for Business users - Microsoft Community

we unable contact external users of skype business.

we followed guide in link https://support.office.com/en-us/article/allow-users-to-contact-external-skype-for-business-users-b414873a-0059-4cd5-aea1-e5d0857dbc94?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us. 

after waiting 24 hours, still can't contact.

we trying send invite chat says "presence unknown.

we tried connecting other wifi, still no avail.

the firewall settings 1 have not tried because have no idea how works.

can share thoughts on possible troubleshooting ideas?

thanks posting here.

 

whether using skype business? if so, please add these external users contact contact list try again: in upper-right corner of contacts list, click the add contact icon > add contact not in organization > skype business.

 

meanwhile, whether these external skype business users can chat successfully? please confirm , tell result. also, firewall setting, please let admin check ports listed in expand see skype business online fqdns under skype business online party in link below:
