.xlsm file have 20 seconds delay when to update a column, or to save - Microsoft Community

hi

i have excel file saved as .xlsm. file size 300kb , content fill-up until row 6xx. current ms office ms office 2016 home & business. problem facing are, when want update field excel file, have delay 10-20 seconds before data displayed, same goes when try delete record field or save excel file.

but when used microsoft office 2007, did not facing problem @ all.

kindly please advise me solution solve issue.

ask additional information. please provide following:

  • were there changes on computer prior issue?
  • does issue occur on other files or documents?
  • have tried opening excel on safe mode, , check if issue persists? press windows key + r, type excel /safe, , click ok.
