Trouble sorting in Excel - Microsoft Community

ok in excel highlight section sort, click on a-z, first cell not sort.   example if 1st "principal" , second "agent", second should on top, isn't.  how can correct this?  using excel "16

Deploying Office 365 is failing to write "updatepath" to the - Microsoft Community
