Notebooks disappeared after closing them (cannot reopen) - Microsoft Community

i closed several notebooks in onenote (version 15.16). when tried re-opening them 2 of 5 notebooks appeared in drive.

i believe other notebooks not synced gmail account / onedrive, have had onenote many years. if remember correctly able save them without logging account then. possible?

i can't find files on laptop (mac), , can't find them in gmail / onedrive either. ideas be? need notebooks.

*i have tried reopening them, checking 'deleted files' , searching in system files.

hi abcxzy,

as there no local notebooks onenote on mac, notebooks should associated account.

you can try logging onenote online , check whether notebooks located on specific account before adding mac's onenote.
