IE11 has a problem with Yahoo home page search box - Microsoft Community

i have dell desktop running win10 upgraded win7 , using ie11. has worked ok long time. search box work on yahoo home page. there blue box right of search box used have word search in it, doesn't now.  if drop down 1 level yahoo news or yahoo sports search box appears , works has.

is there way fix search box on yahoo home page?  tried yahoo on same computer using firefox , works ok there, can't yahoo problem.

you can press enter key execute search on search pages....

make sure have logged in yahoo account , address of yahoo search page using secure protocol (https).

images can blocked in msie web browsers because of security restrictions on secure content (https)....

please include address of websites having problems questions... yahoo has different websites different countries. eg https://au.yahoo.com/?p=us. version of yahoo using may different 1 can access. including problem website address questions allows visit exact same site investigate problem.

if website works differently in web browser, not mean fault web browser.... indicates web site developers have not tested , debugged their software properly.

yahoo have own support forums... https://answers.yahoo.com
