student office 2016 won't work - Microsoft Community

disgusted. consumer office 2016 subscription expired. installed student version, old office version keeps loading when want work. why? more importantly, how out of microsoft hell again?i mean, seems logical , sensible me microsoft not want torture students letting systems such stupid stuff without having simple , findable fix. wasted close hour looking fix. i running windows 10 using lenovo yoga 710 2-in-1. ~ m

• what exact office suite have installed on device? part of office 365 or perpetual license such office home , student 2016?
• did uninstall old office program before installed new office 2016?
• are getting error code or messages?
