Skype for Business for Mac chat isn't working - it keeps saying - Microsoft Community

hi victoria,

for "chat feature stopped working", can provide more details, example, can't open chat window or im button missing? related screenshot better understand it.

meanwhile, may try configuring skype business account in client (maybe colleague or friend's) isolate whether issue related client side.

if so, may focuse on specific client. and, may try clearing cache give shot:

1.log out , quit skype business.
2.go finder > press command+shift+g > type in /users/<macusername>/library > delete following files:
containters > com.microsoft.skypeforbusiness
internet plug-ins > meetingjoinplugin.plugin
logs > lwatracing
saved application state > com.microsoft.skypeforbusiness.savedstate
preferences > com.microsoft.skypeforbusiness.plugin.plist
3. open keychain access /applications/utilities folder.
4. delete keychains starting skype business.
note: may have unlock keychain using password.

i use same version on macos sierra v 10.12.6 , execute of above steps rid of message "chat disabled". unfortunately still have problem please here ?
