excel stop , request repair now, help, or close.  wrong office 365?

try repairing office installation (quick repair enough). try repairing office installation. first try quick repair (takes 5 - 10 mins) , if doesn't try online repair (takes more 30 mins less 1 hour in general)

if repair doesn't solve problem - try following 1 one see after every step whether resolves issue-

1. sometimes, add-ins can cause problems. determine, if add-in problem start application in safe mode , see if problem has gone away.

start in safe mode -

hold ctrl key , click on application icon , don't release ctrl key till asks safe mode confirmation.

if yes, start application , disable add-ins 1 one , start application again every time disable add-in determine culprit add-in.

2. login windows new user profile , see if problem resolved.

3. sometimes, caused due application not being able access default printer. close office applications , change default printer through start > devices , printers printer. may physical 1 or 1 note or xps or pdf or else. if problem, need update printer driver default printer.

4. many third party applications cause problem tuneup utilities, abby finereader, kaspersky anti virus etc. see if have of them installed. close them 1 one , see whether helps
