MFA - Unable to set a new App password (standard users) - Microsoft Community

our mfa users have been prompted enter app password outlook.

their app passwords no longer work.  

we have tried create new app password going mail > settings > office 365 > security & privacy > additional security verification 

however receiving this;


i can set new 1 though (i have full admin access).

we've had disable mfa these users not ideal have owa access.

just clarify, we've granted users permission create these also;

please advise.

may try check users issue via browsing link (https://myapps.microsoft.com) sign in office 365 user account create new app password. 
 
might ask first set additional security verification.

after click on profile picture>select profile>under manage account> click additional security verification> click on app passwords
