i pay annual subscription office 365 , keep up-to-date @ times.  trying move microsoft internet explorer 11 microsoft edge.  microsoft recommending giving in , doing it.  have set default email outlook 2016 when try share link in microsoft edge, mail displayed selection outlook 2016 not.  want use office 365 applications have subscribed , pay every year.

i should not forced use free email application comes windows.  there no guarantee microsoft continue support it.  2 great examples of support being discontinued outlook express , windows live mail.  have not set mail , not intend set up.  additionally, , importantly, save correspondence , not want have in 2 separate email applications.  want office 365 applications work together.

it true internet explorer 11 has become interminably slow , people have told me no longer going supported.  there seems disconnect here.  different departments @ microsoft communicate each other or whatever feel without regard other departments doing?

it has configuration settings of default mail app. assist concern, may refer steps provided in article on how make outlook default program email, contacts , calendar.
