unable to use the search box in OneNote - Microsoft Community

i unable use search box functionality in 1 note.  box allow me type 1 letter, if try type second letter onenote application complete restart.  i'm not sure if setting has changed or causing issue.  please - thanks

a problem in searching might occur if onenote not added windows indexing. efficiently assist you, ask few questions:

  • were there changes made on computer prior issue?
  • which version of windows installed on computer?

for isolation purposes, suggest repair onenote application , check if issue persists. may refer steps provided in article on how repair office application.
