how freeze particular row in excel

if want lock top row in location dave mentioned there option lock top row.

if want lock more 1 row , or column or both place active cell/insertion point in row below rows locked, , right of columns locked. example. lock:
* top 3 rows, put insertion point in a4
* first 2 columns, put insertion point in in c1
* top 2 rows , 3 columns, put insertion point in d4
