OneDrive Offline Files: How to use offline files with Office - Microsoft Community

hi,

i love use onedrive , office apps on ipad o365proplus account - everyhting runs smooth when online.

the new feature make full folders availbale offline in onedrive great but:

1.) why can't ms office apps access offline copies, when ipad not connected internet (e.g. flight mode)?

what use funtion have then?

example: opening excel file offline makes excel app say: file has first opened online, availbale offline ... hell yeah, can't toggle through thounsands of files open them 1 one in excel availbale when need them offline.

opening files in excel on "copy excel" works, can't save changes. useless ... 

2.) when making full folders availbale offline, files not synchronised. marked red x in circle. how can 1 restart synching make sure, files loaded offline use?

thanks sharing experience us:

1) offline files in onedrive ios allows read them anytime, such when aren't connected internet. files marked offline read-only - can edit file when you're online.

2) based on office 365 roadmap, can see offline folders feature still in development. if have issue when using feature in advance, suggest submit feedback @ onedrive uervoice which best way let related team here voice.
