Index and Match - Microsoft Community

i using below function, , not working me.

=index(circuits,match([@[circuit id]],circuits[circuit id],0),39)

i using within workbook of multiple tabs, tables.  circuits name of 1 tab , has column heading of circuit id.

i in tab, column heading of circuit id.  goal match circuit id in current tab circuit id in circuits tab, , pull tab value in column 39.

excel indicates there error , highlights circuits[circuit id], doesn't give further details.

what doing wrong?  same structure have used many times in other workbooks, isn't right in one.

update, modified formula be

=index(circuits,match([@[circuit id]],table7[circuit],0),39)

the change using table7 name instead of name assigned circuits.  why not able use name gave table?

using table7, works.

thank you.

=vlookup($a3,circuits!$a$2:$aw$175,match($b3,circuits!$a$1:$aw$1,0),false)
