In Microsoft Edge (Win 10), how can I move a link from - Microsoft Community

dragging link in favorites list , dropping on bold pipe on favorites bar, did when using internet explorer, doesn't work in edge.  how can arrange items on favorites bar in order prefer i'm using microsoft edge browser more often?

instead of dropping item directly on horizontal favorites bar, drop in on folder called "favorites bar" instead.  special folder in vertical favorites pane mirrors contents of favorites bar.

btw: next version of windows 10 (the so-called fall creators update) has included new feature *will* allow directly drag-n-drop to/from favorites bar.   update scheduled start being available on 17th of october.
