Setting app opens and then closes and also ms-settings: display - Microsoft Community

hello everyone,

i'm having issue settings app won't open , don't why. tried creating new user , things recommend online problem remains. used troubleshooter fixes store problems , settings problems don't have store problems  and didn't fix settings useless. i ran sfc , dism, remained. wanted use iso fix there not iso available version , can't find being provided third-parties.

ok, there problem besides i've said above think somehow related, because, well, it's settings app. ms-settings:display , ms-settings:personalization-background errors. images here:

update on topic: had mention had problems intel hd graphics driver it's fixed. solution downgrade version , there 2 ways that: uninstalling intel drivers first making work microsoft generic drivers , download older intel driver or connect monitor/tv , install older driver.

there different factors why "settings app" on windows 10 computer not open properly. caused recent update installed or system files got corrupted. resolve concern, kindly answer questions below:

  • were there error messages when attempted launch "settings app"?
  • which version , build of windows 10 have installed in computer?
