Microsoft not accepting product key - Microsoft Community

hi,

i make sure have working copy of office. purchased product key office home , student 2016. attempted install few weeks ago , thought successful. today had message in word saying subscription (through free trial when purchased laptop month ago) end october 1, 2017. went webpage enter product key , when entered it, taken account page few seconds later. page (https://support.office.com/en-us/article/what-s-the-difference-between-office-365-and-office-2016-ed447ebf-6060-46f9-9e90-a239bd27eb96) says product key entitled microsoft office , should not have pay subscription. nothing on account page indicates have access come october 1. can help? need wait until october 1 see if access cuts out? 

ciao, looks installed paid office on pre-installed office trial. can solve problem uninstalling ms office istances on computer , re-installing paid one. if need further procedure, please not hesitate ask. hope works you, please let know outcome. ciao , ugo
