disable using recovery key option part of reset protection feature available windows phones running build 8.10.15127.138 or later. reset protection feature free service allows ring, lock, or erase phone , find or protect data on make sure no 1 can reset , reuse without permission.
if device asking recovery key, sent email address associated microsoft account.
