Having problem with updating windows to Windows Insider Preview Build - Microsoft Community

last sunday, computer had automatically started update windows insider preview 17017.1000. first, became downloaded after installing, told me restart computer. when restarted, didn't finish installing update , computer started normally. but, when went update section, saw again showing downloading update , became stuck @ 0%. ran troubleshooting toll , again started downloading. still, same problem arose. stuck @ 61% data being consumed. can do?

in these later insider updates, being stuck not real sign of problem.  update can stop period of time , continue.

also, fact 1 try fails not mean 2nd run fail.  today had 16299.15 moving 16299.19 along bunch of office 2016 updates.   successful in getting office 2016 finished on new start w10 update failed.  on 2nd try, office 2016 updates out of way, w10 update successful.

how long did leave @ 61%?   hour or 2 not concern me.  fire late @ night , go bed avoid looking @ delays or "stalls". 

running troubleshooter first fix attempt.  if me, give lots of time , see if throws error.  when data being consumed, mean?  there lot of data being moved around in moving current system c:\windows c:\windows.old several gbs of data moving around. 

just today, installing 16299.15 usb public build.  fired , left day.  no way of knowing if had stalls, did complete.
