Annotations already done on PDF file do not transfer over in print out - Microsoft Community

does have solution this? have same problem original topic post. have macbook pro microsoft onenote. highlighted bunch of important ideas pdf file , saved normal. looks normal , nothing wrong. imported same pdf onenote (on mac), using printout, highlights dissapeared. looked pdf never touched or read. however, when opened pdf using adobe acrobat or preview, or on surface pro 4, highlights there! 

however, when used import --> pdf printout using surface pro 4, works fine! let's constructive here , don't want hear/see war mac vs. windows (because have both) argument. tried using ipad , iphone, again highlights dissapeared. it's apple version of onenote got dumbed down...way dumb. 

i think cannot problem in onenote because doesn't create printout, inserts onenote. onenote calls installed pdf-software , starts printout. printout parameterized preferences/settings of software. these preferences setting handles print default.
