Pivot Table Will Not Allow Me to Group Dates - Microsoft Community

what's strange have group dates in pivot table everyday last 4 months no problem today not allow me group dates.

i have ensured format of these cells "date" , double checked none of entries blank but i still "cannot group selection" every time try group field.

i made sure "dates" real dates recognized excel going data > text columns (to convert data in group real dates)> next>next> click "date" box under column data format, choose myd format, under destination select range within column dates. click finish.  still, not work.

this caused if have non date entry in date column of source data - such blank cell.
