that worked perfectly. sometimes, time 2:15, did "h:mm" format, avoid 02:00. seems able handle that, , show both 2:15 , 14:30, instead of 02:15 , 14:30. taking time me.

another request - there way add tab final text? need have final product formatted this:  sonata in g (tab) beethoven (tab) time (return). i've gotten carriage return after next line adding &char(13). although think character tab char(9), adds space between words , not tab.

i may have 20 lines of text (pieces of music) 4 10. think may mean nesting bunch of if-then's. there way have 1 if-then repeat number of lines of pieces of music? thinking of writing out until got blank field , stop looking. otherwise think going have bunch of lines without in them.

weird pasting without format gives exact format want. checking on it. have noticed when have special formatting in text field, if paste field, changes formatting. either have paste text only, or choose remove formatting edit menu. guess 1 learns these idiosyncrasies as go along.

the counting "stopping" addition of more fields. can have twenty pieces in spreadsheet. there 4 pieces of information each piece. (title, composer, style period, , timing) combining first, second, , last ones. if keep putting carriage returns formula @ end of each group of three, , have 4 pieces in particular set, have bunch of carriage returns @ end of cell. (hope makes sense) thought maybe have figure out how many pieces there were, , stop importing data after many, say, carriage turns. in case, first 12 fields have data in them, , rest blank.

i if field empty, go on next field, mean keep cycling through 20 pieces, instead of stopping after fourth piece. guess have 19 if-then's. (although don't think have fewer 3 pieces, in case-).

presently, deleting carriage returns.
