How do I assign a cell to autosum a column in Excel? - Microsoft Community

i'm using column in excel 2013 add currency. i'm wanting have blank table @ beginning , fill go currency other data , keep total @ bottom of column of column 250 cells within.

the problem i'm facing in putting autosum @ bottom, error message saying have many blank cells or duplicates same amount 1 cell other cells in same column.

would there way fix this? or there alternative solutions this? i'm first-time excel user.

don't use autosum if have no data in column.

in a251 enter formula  =sum(a1:a250)
