Sorting by selected items in a column - Microsoft Community

hello community. may seem basic question not able figure out , appreciate help.  

i have large excel file of thousands of rows , described in simplest form below *next item cannot figure out how do.

i sort find rows information in column b.  

i highlight rows in color (blue)

*i want sort find items listed blue have same information in column (but not same information in column b) highlight them well.

i canot figure out how without doing manually in massive file takes time. items looking not sequential nor have other column in common except items in column may match.

if has solution make day! thank help.

i'd add helper column concatenate a&b, filter or sort on that.

=a1&b1
