I Want my formula cells to look at a different worksheet - Microsoft Community

hello all,

i have spreadsheet set @ referenced cells on same worksheet. now, have spreadsheet @ exact same cell locations... >but<, on totally different worksheet within workbook.

i hoping there quick , simple way of doing opposed editing each , every formula, via, plugging in new sheet name in front of each cell reference or cell range.

for instance - on sheet 1, paste in raw data cells a1:a10.

also on sheet 1, cell k1 contains formula =sum(a1:a10)

i want start pasting raw data cells a1:a10, on sheet 2. how 'easily' redirect of formulas on sheet 1 refer cells on sheet 2, without having repeatedly plug 'sheet 2!' each formula??

there must type of automated way of achieving this, right??

hi,

try on copy of workbook

1. press ctrl+h on sheet1

2. in find box, type a1:a10

3. in replace box, type

'sheet1'!a1:a10

4. click on replace all
