Problems typing into OneNote for mac - Microsoft Community

i've started using onenote version 15.38 mac college purposes recently. having major problem in keyboard stops working mid-use , cannot type until restart program. every other application on mac works fine. 

i'd appreciate advice.

i think fixed in 15.39

make sure mac has working internet connection, then:

 

  1. update mac os x. open app store , click on updates button. install updates.
  2. after, in office application go menu , choose check updates launch autoupdate app. let autoupdate install updates , restart mac.
