Issue with Microsoft Office 365 and Office Profesional Plus 2016 - Microsoft Community

1. recently, have reinstall surface 3's windows 10 (start fresh) due constant window's freezing , sluggish performance.
2. before that, had bought microsoft profesional plus 2016 (on 06 october 2016) thru microsoft's hup programme.
3. downloaded office pro plus 2016 thru hup website (no dvd or media).
3. office pro plus 2016 working fine before , after reinstallation, keeps on prompting microsoft account confirmed.
4. have key-in username/microsoft account , password used surface 3 before , doesn't recognized current username anymore. prompting, "we didn't find office product account".
5. tried use product key had , did activate office pro plus 2016 license license pop out prompting sign in; microsoft office 365 (i believe culprit refer "attachment 1" below).

6. have uninstall office (365) default office in surface.
7. have reinstall/uninstall office pro plus 2016 many times (and no improvement).
8. internet speed excellent (no issue on that).
9. have updated surface 3 through windows update including office update (all latest).
10. after reading comments community, have found quite common issue (but without 100% success rate solution , many versions of ways solve it).
11. culprit believed original office 365 (get office) app shipped out part of surface 3 default office app. have uninstalled it, still sort of 'clashing' microsoft account , office pro plus 2016.

please, need , feedback microsoft team , community!

hello! problem have several key installed, need removed key, please continue next steps.

open cmd admin , find folder have installed office 2016, example:

cd "c:\program files (x86)\microsoft office\office16" or cd "c:\program files\microsoft office\office16"

when you’re on folder, run next commad.

cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus

copy each 5 digit key , paste in next command “change xxxxx”


cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:xxxxx

when finished of remove key, run next command.

cscript ospp.vbs /act

you’ll can open office 2016 without problems.

please tell me if problem continue.
