OneNote Mac - Individual and Group Distribution Option Unavailable - Microsoft Community

hi there,

i've been looking @ least hour see if else has had issue , posted it, no no avail, i'll post here. 

also first time posting here, if in wrong place, please feel free correct me.

i've started using onenote band classes, , trying set student groups , have been trying figure out how make work can distribute group of students (or individual students).  i know "individual , group distribution" option should appearing once click "distribute page", showing section groups (i.e. class notes, handouts, homework, etc.).  i'm fine distributing section groups, clicking on distribute of students.  so how can set distributes specified individuals or groups of students?

if necessary know, i'm using mac running os 10.12.6.  and downloaded onenote yesterday i'm pretty sure have date version.
