i building workbook track personnel , equipment hours feed invoice. need grab data various cells in multiple sheets within workbook build invoice. best method doing this?

for example, have job number should entered once , feed across 3 sheets.  function can use facilitate data population across other sheets once enter invoice number first time on sheet one?
