Excel and word crashing on iPad and iPhone - Microsoft Community

hi,

i have been happily using excel , word on ipad , iphone, in last 2 weeks or have become unable access either programme iphone or tablet. when select app, word / excel screen flashes on , disappears. programme showing open on recent tabs (double click home button) when select same thing happens (flashes on , disappears). 

i have searched online , solution found uninstall apps, switch off iphone / ipad , reinstall app.  i did , seemed work - ive gone use programme again today , crashes again before. 

has else experienced problem - , if have found solution?

my devices , subscriptions date, , can access programmes via web. 

can help?

we understand you're having challenges launching office apps on ipad. effective way fix issue uninstall , reinstall it. however, found post similar case. suggest try suggested workaround of cliveelleforde, dated last may 24, 2015, on thread.

let know works on end.
