dear excel gods/community, 

i have question in regards coping , pasting text in excel. when pasting large text in cell box know right away fills row. however, if want expand text within range, example, $a$22:$h$24. in order paste text in desired cell range using previous example, inserting text box option? thank time!

you can select range , go format cells (ctrl+1) > alignment > check wrap text & merge cells options.
