this seems "age old" problem insiders , retail users alike - many feedback hub reports countless up-votes appear have gone unanswered.

on sunday 15th 1 of fortunate many (or perhaps should lucky few?) updated cleanly , without problem 16299.15 17017.1000 (i away while , missed .19 update)

yet again drivers replaced versions! @ least 3 generations old

this got.....

this had.... installed recent direct download nvidia.....

trying update proved useless....

along suggestion go , "retry" updates - again useless.

i appreciate 6 weeks many short time microsoft update database of drivers 9 months!!! said, august 21 when drivers released after being signed off microsoft. drivers dated 2016 december 29? know lot can happen in 9 months.... more in world of technology!!

surely it's not beyond capability of development team in microsoft find way prevent old versions of drivers overwriting newer versions? if not, needs appointed "curator of drivers" microsoft knows shoot if continues.....

if microsoft can spare time between **** , farcebooking read .... please fixed.... i'm sure you'll make lot of people happy.

this interesting george because last 3 builds have been getting nvidia v387.92 insider versions. received version release version along kb4041676 making win10 15063.674.

but when checking online latest build @ nvidia.uk several builds behind.
