when enter number in cell , scroll down down arrow sheet moves instead of staying still.  maybe unintentionally hit scroll unlock?  it's can apple keyboard.

well, there quite few "apple keyboards" :-) have f14 key? if so, shift+f14 should toggle off scroll lock. if it's laptop may need use fn+shift+f14 depending on os x keyboard preferences settings.
